Next week, the annual National Staffing Employee of the Year, along with his or her company will be revealed. The candidates will be announced to the ASA members, the media, and the public. This Staffing Industry News seeks to prove the merit and importance of this competitive industry and recognize its star players who drive business and innovation.
The winner will be publicized and celebrated in an awards ceremony in Nashville over the weekend of October 27-29. In addition, the ASA will also recognize the finalists for the first time in the health care; industrial; office-clerical and administrative, professional-managerial; and engineering, information technology, and scientific industries, according to American Staffing Association.
While the nomination polls are now closed, the website provides a comprehensive list of qualifications to nominate staffing stars for next year. The treatment for winners includes an all-expense paid, deluxe travel and hotel accommodations for the ceremony, a cover story in Staffing Success magazine, a travel gift card that is eligible for use worldwide, and a news release and ASA publications in their honor, as reported by ASA.
The requirements to qualify are as follows:
- ASA member firms and branches
- Multiple nominations are welcome for either temporary or contracted employees so long as he or she started on or before August 1, 2014
- The candidates must be able to travel to Nashville for the winning ceremony
- The candidate’s employment or name must not be required to remain confidential
